Holly Fincke provides consulting services to non-profit organizations and foundations focused on achieving social and racial justice and meeting the needs of low- and moderate-income people. She brings to her clients an exceptional track record in development and organizational and programmatic development. She consistently leads dynamic processes, produces quality work products and helps organizations raise funds in ways they had not previously imagined.
Her perspective and commitment to her clients is firmly rooted in her experiences as a staff member, board member, and volunteer. Resource Development
- Developing fundraising plans, in coordination with leadership and program development plans.
- Implementing major donor and sponsorship campaigns and, through training and coaching, increasing Board and volunteer capacity to carry out successful campaigns.
- Conceptualizing small and large events and organizing teams to carry them out.
- Developing grassroots fundraising (including direct mail, direct asks, events) campaigns.
- Writing, editing and framing high-quality funding proposals.
- Fundraising trainings and coaching, including on moving past the fear of asking and the politics of asking/giving.
- Conceptualizing and writing collateral materials and overseeing production.
Planning and Program Development
- Carrying out feasibility studies including internal and external interviews and data gathering.
- Facilitating processes to develop vision and goals as well as the structures, decision making processes and work plans to support the vision.
- Researching emerging issues and impacts on communities and developing programs in response.
- Developing timelines, budgets, work plans and evaluation plans.
Organizational Development
- Helping boards of directors develop their own sense of their roles and responsibilities, a positive board culture, and accountability mechanisms.
- Developing decision-making processes and clear roles within organizations and collaborations.
- Developing boards, advisory committees, and other structures.
